Dryden Police Report

Dryden Police are reporting a fairly quiet 2005.
Chief of Police Shayne MacKinnon has released the force’s annual
report with no increase in major crimes.
MacKinnon says he’s worried about the high rate of vandlaism in the
area.
Domestic violence cases didn’t increase and weapons offences were down
slightly.
Motor vehicle collisions were up slightly from 2004.
MacKinnon says the year will be remembered for the opening of the renovated Chief John A. Riley building.
He adds the level of training has been exceptional with a number
of younger officers now on board due to retirements and resignations.
