Child Care Fee Hike in Dryden

Child care fees are going up across the board in Dryden, starting on October 1st.
The fee for full day infant service will be $62.
It will be $36.25 for full day kindergarten, full day preschool and full day for school-aged children.
The rate will be set at $40.25 for full day toddler.
Fees for Half-day service and the before and after school program are also being hiked.
The last increase was in September, 2008.
Increasing labour costs are to blame as staff note that accounts for 85% of the childcare budget.
