Tourist Allegedly Assaulted on Lake of the Woods

Not the trip to Canada a British man was envisioning.
Kenora OPP received a report that a man was assaulted while visiting friends on an Island on Lake of the Woods.
The suspect fled the scene, prompting a search by OPP, the canine unit and a helicopter.
The man was located two days later at a mainland residence in the area.
The 35-year-old victim from Dorest, England was treated at Hospital and released.
18-year-old Adriel Shworob of Winnipeg faces 1-count of assault with a weapon.
