Children’s Author From NWO Is Up For An Award

A Northwestern Ontario author is up for a Governor General’s Award.
Thunder Bay’s Jean Pendziwol is one of five author’s on the children’s literature short list and says she’s honoured.
She says “Once Upon a Northern Night” is a lyrical, poetic bedtime story that takes place at nighttime in a Northern environment.
The Governor General Award winners will be announced November 28th in Ottawa.
