It’s still unclear if Dryden’s Chris Pronger will return to the NHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers defenceman sat down for an exclusive interview with Sportsnet and talked about his condition and his future.
Pronger told Sportsnet that he wasn’t sure what the end will bring and it’s a matter of taking things day-to-day.
The future Hall-of-Famer hasn’t played since November 19th, 2011 and is trying to recover from a concussion and vision problems.
He told Sportsnet that every day has building blocks and he’s trying to get a little bit better.
Pronger added his concussion woes have gotten better, but he still gets headaches if he does too much, and stresses he won’t return to the ice until he’s symptom-free.
Pronger adds he still has poor peripheral vision after getting hit in the eye.
While he hasn’t given up hope, Pronger told Sportsnet that he’s comfortable with his place in the game and what he’s been able to accomplish and that he doesn’t have any regrets.
