City Applies for Day Care Spots

The City of Dryden plans on submitting an application for an additional 19 Day Care spaces.
The Kenora District Services Board is calling for proposals for early learning funding.
Child Care Manager Lynn Carlson says they hope to find out if they are a successful bidder sometime before March.
Carlson says they are currently facing a waiting list of 150 children and the cost to renovate the building and purchase additional equipment stands at $57,000.
