You won’t have to worry about driving downtown with a role of quarters starting January 1st.
City Council has agreed to suspend parking meters on a temporary basis following a request to remove them from Dryden Businessman Roy Wilson.
Instead of the meters, a 2 hour time limit will be in place, with violations carrying a $20 to $25 fine.
The new measure will be in place for a 1 year trial period.
