City Donating $75,000 to CT Scan Unit

Although health doesn’t come under the mandate of the City, Council
has agreed to provide financial support for the Hospital’s CT Scan Unit.
On December 17th, Council is expected to approve a donation of
$75,000, which will come from the hydro reserves.
Councilor Brian Collins says the machine will help attract and
retain professionals in Dryden.
Collins says Council determined a number of years ago that the money
from the sale of Hydro One would be used for items that would benefit the
entire community.
