Dryden Council and Senior Staff plan to sit down in the coming days to formulate a priority capital list to submit for Government Funding.
The City has identified some 111-projects, 40 of which can be considered “shovel ready”.
Treasurer Linda McNaughton says 8-funding envelopes were created in the recent Federal Stimulus package.
McNaughton says a number of projects could be eligible including the new Sewage Treatment Plant, Centennial Business Park, completion of City Revitalization, road work, water meter implementation, the Photovoltaic Solar Farm and extending water and sewer down Sandy Beach Road.
She notes the Recreation Stimulus Fund could be used for Arena renovations, lighting the ball diamonds and soccer fields or creating a water splash park.
