City Manager A Proud Father

The celebration continues in London, England for Dryden City Manager Joe van Koerverden.
As we all know now, son Adam took home a silver medal in the K-1 1,000 metre Kayak final yesterday.
Joe was in the stands watching and he contacted the CKDR Newsroom last night.
Van Koerverden says he’s proud of his son and his accomplishments.
Joe says Adam wanted gold but is content and happy with an Olympic silver.
The two spent last night enjoying the moment with other athletes at Canada House.
Joe says he will enjoy some time with his son the next two days before heading back to Canada on Saturday.
