City Needs More Money for Ontario Works

The City of Dryden is having a difficult time funding Ontario Works
programs.
The Kenora District Services Board is giving the municipality over
$12,000 in bonus funding to cover a first-quarter deficit.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says they had a caseload of 106 in December but
she stresses that has now jumped to 114.

n046 runs: 21 sec. out…6 months.

Krassilowsky says the City doesn’t want to lose Ontario Works services
but notes they have nowhere else to go.
