The City of Dryden finally has a found a full-time Chief Administrative Officer.
Peggy Van Mierlo-West has been hired and she will officially start her new duties on December 14th.
She was most recently the CAO of Central Huron, in Western Ontario.
Van Mierlo-West was also the Director of Engineering and Public Works in the Township of West Lincoln in the Niagara region and also served as Director of Community Services for Lambton Shores for six years.
The CAO position in Dryden has been vacant since the end of 2014 and John Cummings has been filling in on an interim basis.
Meantime, with Cummings scheduled to leave Dryden at the end of the week, Council has named Jodi Langlais as interim Treasurer.
