The Dryden GM Ice Dogs were honoured by the City of Dryden Thursday.
The team visited City Hall where Deputy Mayor John Carlucci presented the players with a Dryden flag.
Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard also highlighted the impact the team has had on the community and area youth.
He called the players true role models.
The Ice Dogs continued on with their school visits and even brought the Bill Salonen Cup to Max the Moose.
The club will hold its year-end Awards banquet Friday night at 6:00 at the Best Western.
