The City of Dryden vows to fight.
Union Gas has applied for a retroactrive rate increase back to 1999 in an effort to try & recover increased costs.
The Company says the average residential consumer would have to pay abourt $120 over 3 monthly installments.
For larger industrial users, the bill could be substantial.
Dryden would be hit up for just over $12,000, the Hospital has been told its share is roughly $20,000 while Weyerhaeuser is facing a bill of $58,000.
The Ontario Energy Board will have the final say on the clawback request.
