Some encouraging news for local retailers as a CKDR News poll finds that most people plan to open their wallets this holiday season.
27% of respondents indicated they plan to spend over a grand on Christmas gifts.
13% are in the $500 to $1,000 range, while 17% said that no matter what they will likely be over budget.
