We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus, along with the ability to handle heavy lifting and perform precise repairs efficiently.

Duties

• Repair and refinish vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove dents, replace panels, and perform frame straightening
• Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and parts replacement
• Perform sanding, grinding, welding, and painting as needed to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete repairs within designated timeframes
• Document repair procedures and communicate progress with supervisors and customers as required

Experience

• Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body structures
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
• Experience with automotive repair processes including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and refinishing
• Mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
