Nurse Practitioner
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families across the lifespan in accordance with the standards and scope of practice established by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) for Registered Nurses in the Extended Class. Practicing within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team model, the NP plays a critical role in improving access to high-quality, client-centered primary care services for the residents of Ear Falls and surrounding communities.
This role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, risk reduction, and chronic disease management, while fostering strong community relationships and supporting innovative, evidence-based practice. The NP demonstrates leadership, accountability, professionalism, and a deep commitment to advancing the health and well-being of the community.
