I have a Remington model 600 bolt action rifle in .308 calibre, with a Bushnell Banner 3-9 variable power scope.  It has a very short barrel making it very handy in the woods, and originally designed as a guide gun, but it remains non restricted, so an easy purchase with your PAL.  You’ll note the marks on the top of the barrel, it used to have a plastic rib that was removed at some point in this rifles life.  Its ready to hunt!
