Williams Lake Lodge is a remote, drive-in fishing and hunting resort in Northwest Ontario, 65km north of Dryden. We have 8 “housekeeping” cabins and a lodge on Williams Lake, plus an outpost cabin. Website: www.williamslakelodge.com You will be involved in most day-to-day operations of the lodge and must be willing and able to do all jobs at the resort. These include handyman, boat operator, dock hand, housekeeper, and groundskeeper. You must be personable with the guests and be able to instruct them in the use of boats, motors, sonar, etc. The position requires living and working, full time, in the remote wilderness of Northwest Ontario. This is a full time, seasonal job from early May through mid- October. You will work 5 to 6 days each week. Hours may vary each day, with a total each week of no more than 50. Responsibilities include the following and we will train you when necessary.

• Instruct the guests in the use of equipment including boats, motors, sonar/GPS units, etc.

• Handle requests from the guests

• Dispense fishing bait to the guests and record the amounts

• Fill the boats with gas and record the amounts

• Make repairs when something breaks down, if possible, or report the breakdown to your boss.

• Operate boats

• Operate ATVs

• Clean the fish cleaning house and the dock area

• Power wash boats, wood decks, cabin siding, and boardwalks

• Help with carpentry, plumbing, and other maintenance projects

• Pick up and dispose of leaves in the spring

• Cut the grass with mower and trimmer

• Cut and dispose of brush

• Help maintain the driveway

• Pick up and dispose of garbage from cabins

• Strip and make beds in the cabins on Friday change-over day

• Paint and stain cabins, wood decking, docks, and boardwalks
