Supervised Access Worker - Fort Frances location - Casual/flexible position
The Supervised Access Worker works within the Supervised Access Program to maintain a safe and non-threatening, child-focused, neutral environment for non-residing parties or other family members to visit with or exchange their children.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and monitor all interactions between children and non-residing party
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for children and visiting party
• Maintain factual observation records of visits and exchanges as set out by the agency’s policies and procedures, and in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services
Expectations:
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team while developing and maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers
• Exercise discretion and respect the rights of clients
• Ability to interact effectively and develop professional relationships with clients
• Basic keyboarding skills
• Hours of work offered are casual and flexible. Work hours are scheduled based on availability provided and typically occur during the evening and/or on weekends. This position would be an excellent supplement to existing part time or full time employment.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in human services or experience within a related field is considered an asset. Training will be provided.
Salary: $21.32 – $23.61 as per Collective Agreement
