Dryden Regional Health Centre is currently recruiting a Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Oncology Department, through December 2027. Reporting to the Director – Pharmacy, Oncology & Professional Practice, the Oncology Registered Nurse supports the assessment, treatment, and follow-up care of patients receiving systemic therapy, contributing to safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care close to home.
In this role, you will:
• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients receiving systemic therapy
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families throughout their cancer care journey
• Apply and strengthen assessment, critical thinking, and symptom-management skills in a focused clinical setting
• Work as part of a close, multidisciplinary team committed to safe, evidence-based care
• Support patients in receiving cancer treatment close to home
