The Canadian Red Cross is urgently looking for volunteers to drive seniors in your community, to and from medical appointments. Trips could be short local trips within your community, or as far as Winnipeg or Thunder Bay. Red Cross vehicles are provided for volunteers residing in the Dryden area. Volunteers residing in other communities and using their own personal vehicles will receive reimbursement for mileage. Volunteer when you have time with no minimum hours required. All volunteers will receive meal reimbursements and free hotel accommodations, so it will cost you nothing but your time.
