Clean Bill Of Health For Catholic Board

The Northwest Catholic District School Board finished 2014-2015 in the black.

The Board ended up with a $1.3-million surplus according to audited financial statements.

School generated funds and fees as well as revenue from other sources exceeded expectations.

Instructional, administration and pupil accommodation expenses were all under budget.

The report shows roughly $16-million of the $22.4-million budget consisted of salaries, wages and benefits.

The Board spent more than $965,000 on bussing last year.
