The single pilot on-board a downed Wasaya Airways plane is dead.
The airline says search and rescue crews could not resuscitate Captain Nick Little when he was found unresponsive, following a ground search for the cargo plane that went missing yesterday.
Efforts to reach the site of the aircraft were hampered by freezing rain, and took hours.
Rescue crews remained on site through the night, awaiting additional resources to airlift the pilot home.
CEO Michael Rodyniuk says the company is “devastated.” (Photo supplied)
