Clean Up Efforts Continue In Dryden

The clean up continues in the Dryden area following last Friday’s major storm.
Manager of Public Works Blake Poole says trees were uprooted, power lines went down and roof shingles flew off roofs.
The storm also knocked over a dugout at the Sandy Beach Ball diamonds.
Poole says they lost several old trees and notes they will be replaced.
Poole stresses the city worked closely with Hydro One and the Dryden Fire Service.
He notes they hope to have everything looking back to normal sometime this week.
There are reports of twisters touching down but Environment Canada hasn’t confirmed the reports.
