The Ministry of Natural Resources plans to send more firefighters out-of-province today.
The firefighters are scheduled to join crews already battling fires in Quebec.
Local crews are also fighting fires in the Northwest Territories and Manitoba.
Here at home there are 39-actives fires burning with a total of over 32,000 hectares of land burned.
Four new forest fires sparked over the weekend.
Two of the blazes were in the Sioux Lookout district and the other two were in the Kenora area.
The forest fire hazard is low.
