The Dryden Fire Servive wants to remind local residents to remember
the basics following a small chimney fire Wednesday morning.
Crews were called to an Islandvue Road home around 10 o’clock after a
report of smoke however the flames were quickly put out.
Fire officials want to stress that chimney’s should be kept clean,
especially during the winter months.
The public is also reminded to ensure all homes are equipped with
working smoke alarms.
