Now only the Senate stands in the way of NDP MP Bruce Hyer’s Climate change bill.
The bill passed third reading in the House of Commons by a vote of 149-136.
The Thunder Bay-Superior North representative says it’s designed to reduce greenhouse gases
Hyer understands the Harper government will probably ignore the bill, but hopes the Senate will come through and vote in favour of it.
