Close Call Prompts OPP Investigation

Provincial Police say a Youtube video showing a near head-on collision on Highway 11 north of Nipigon highlights the importance of the safe driving messages promoted by a new Highway Safety Education Committee.
The video shows one transport driver forced to take evasive action to avoid an oncoming transport passing a snowplow.
Sergeant Shelley Garr says they’re following up on the chilling dash board footage.
Garr notes it’s unknown if the incident was reported but it appears the video was posted on January 4th at 8:17 am.
Garr stresses they are investigating.
