Closed Door Meeting With Resolute and Mayors

The Mayor of Fort Frances is among those meeting behind closed doors today (Tuesday) with the C-E-O of Resolute Forest Products.
Roy Avis says he was asked to attend the meeting that is taking place in Thunder Bay.
The meeting comes as the company goes through as assessment appeal of its Fort Frances operations and a lengthy shutdown of operations.
The Mayors of Ignace, Kenora and Fort Frances are also taking part in the meeting.
Avis says he wasn’t told what the meeting will be specifically about.
