A Thunder Bay court has heard a lawyer admit his client grabbed the steering wheel of a Greyhound bus, causing it to flip over off the highway.
But the lawyer for Shaun Davis of Nova Scotia says his client has a mental disorder and was not criminally responsible for what happened.
Davis is facing three sets of charges, including manslaughter stemming from the death of an elderly passenger, in connection with the December 2000 bus crash near Upsala.
Closing arguments in the case wrapped up yesterday.
