CN Not Commenting On Lawsuit Report

A CN Rail official is not commenting on news the provincial government is taking legal action against the company.
It’s to recover costs associated with battling four forest fires in northern Ontario in 2012 believing the fires were caused by passing CN trains.
That includes the 40,000 hectare blaze near Timmins which cost the province $38-million to fight.
Costs associated with the other fires near Thunder Bay, Chapleau and Timmins amount to about $4 to $6-million.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
