Cold But Successful Moosefest Regatta

It was a chilly weekend, but 7 races were completed at the Moosefest Windsurfing Regatta at Sandy Beach.
Peter Hartwich of Minnesota won the Open Class event, beating out Wisconsin’s Don Altmeyer and Dryden’s Brad Woodworth.
Jeff Earnshaw of Thunder Bay won the Limited Class competition, with Dryden’s Bruce Stratford coming in third.
Larry Reed of Iowa won the Sport Class race, with local racer Margot Woodworth finishing second.
