Cold, snowy April

Old Man winter just didn’t want to leave northwestern Ontario last month.

Environment Canada confirms that April was both snowier and colder than normal.

Sandy Radecki is a climatologist and says the snowstorm last weekend just added insult to injury for the region.

April was also a bit colder than normal, with the daily mean temperature last month hitting just 2.2 degrees, compared to the average, which is 3.6.
