Fort Frances Lakers forward Cole Tymkin has been named SIJHL Rookie of the Year.
In 49-games played, Tymkin led all rookies in offensive production with 15-goals and 33-assists.
The 16-year-old finished ninth overall in league scoring.
Tymkin is the sixth player from a Fort Frances-based franchise to win the award.
Nash Dabb of the English River Miners was a finalist for the award.
