Colin Scott Proudfoot

It is with great sadness we announce that we lost our dear father, husband and grandfather, Colin Scott Proudfoot, on Saturday, August 26, 2006, in Richmond, British Columbia. Colin is survived by his loving wife Judith, his sister Mona (Walter Clarke) of Dryden, two daughters Colleen of Vancouver, B.C., Sharee (Gerry Diakow) of Tsawwassen, B.C., two sons Garry (Joanie) of West Vancouver, B.C. and Jeffery (Charmaine) of Lethbridge, Alberta. His five grandchildren, Tiffany and Matthew Proudfoot and Hector, Brandon and Rachel Diakow. He was predeceased by his mother and father, his brother Lindsey, sister Nina Aitken and daughter Karen Mona Jean. A memorial service to celebrate Colin’s life will be held Saturday, September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Church in Dryden, with Pastor Greg McKee officiating. Branch #63 of the Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a Legion Service. A private family burial will take place at a later time. A Masonic Service will be held at the Stevens Funeral Homes Moffat Chapel on Friday evening at 7:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dryden Regional Health Centre Foundation through the Stevens Funeral Home, P.O. Box 412, Dryden, Ontario. P8N 2Z1.
