One last attempt to avoid a strike by Ontario’s college faculty.
The union representing faculty, including those at Confederation college, has put forward what it calls its final offer in hopes of reaching a settlement with the College Employer Council by Monday at 12:01 AM.
It’s asking for an equal balance of contract and full time positions, improvements to job security, and for faculty to have more say in decision making.
A spokesperson for the Ontario Public Service Employees Union says faculty want to avoid a strike tomorrow, which would cancel classes at Confederation College. (File Photo)
