Colleges And Teachers Going Back To Bargaining Table

For the first time in almost three weeks, both sides in the strike by Ontario college instructors will be going back to the bargaining table.

Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development Deb Matthews made the announcement Wednesday morning, calling it a step in the right direction.

Matthews says negotiations will resume on Thursday and she is hoping both parties take it seriously in order to get students back to the classroom as quickly as possible.

Matthews says she will continue to work with student groups to ensure they have the information they need to get through this strike.
