Premier Doug Ford has hand-picked 11 experts to look at some of the challenges facing Ontario’s health care system.
Dr. Rueben Devlin has been selected to lead the Premier’s Council on Improving Health Care and ending hallway medicine.
Devlin says they need to transform the way Ontarians receive health services and experience relationships with health care providers.
He adds there is a need to deliver services in the most modern and effective way possible.
One of the committee members is David Murray who is Executive Director of Northwest Health Alliance and former Chief Executive Officer of the Meno-Ya-Win Health Center in Sioux Lookout.
