Common Voice Chimes In on Northern Growth Plan

A Regional Agency has submitted a host of recommendations for the Province to consider as part of the proposed Northern Growth Plan.
The recommendations from Common Voice Northwest are contained in a 172-page document presented to Northern Development Minister Michael Gravelle.
Chair George Macey says the development of a Public Policy Institute for this area is key.
Macey adds they want a new Secretariat formed to help carry out the report’s recommendations.
Another Common Voice recommendation is an agency that allows for more input from Northern Ontario into the decision making process at Queen’s Park.
