About a hundred people turned out to a public forum hosted by “Community Matters” last night in Dryden. “Community Matters” covers the area between Dyment on the east of Dryden to Vermilion Bay on the west and was formed to study the impact on the area due to the collapse of the forest industry.
Brain-storming, round table discussions saw scores of ideas from assisting small business development to making Dryden more attractive to seniors as well as building on tourism opportunities. Committee Chair Roger Valley hopes to see more groups formed in the next several weeks to bring some ideas to fruition
