OPP Charge Dangerous Drivers

An early morning snow machine ride has ended up costing an Eagle River man.
Dryden OPP stopped a snow machine on the ice road located at the end of Van Horne Avenue and the Government Dock early Saturday morning.
Police charged a 70-year-old man with impaired driving and exceeding 80-milligrams of alcohol.
In a second case, Dryden OPP charged a 48-year-old Ignace man with operating an unsafe commercial vehicle.
Police discovered that a pulp truck had lost a set of dual tires as well as another separate tire.
