Community Adjustment Plan in Ignace

A new Ignace Community Adjustment Committee is about to be established
thanks to $130,000 in funding from the Ministry of Training,
Colleges and Universities.
Downsizing is evident in the community thanks to the troubled forest
sector and the Adjustment program will address future growth opportunities.
The Committee will look at community infrastructure, social and labour
force development, business retention, expansion and education and training.
Ignace plans to hire a Coordinator and Assistant to carry out the work.
