A new 3-year plan for the Dryden Police Service should be in the hands
of Council by the end of June.
The service has received some 500-survey’s from randomly selected
households, with more trickling in.
Chief Shayne MacKinnon says the main priority appears to be having more services for area kids such as a new youth centre and after-school recreation programs.
MacKinnon adds keeping drugs off the street is also a main concern.
He says continuing the Neighbourhood Legacy program and securing
a new youth centre are both part of the plan.
