Community Care Access Centre Changes

The board chair of the Community Care Access Centre in the region is upset by a provincial government decision to remove its executive director.
Joyce Chevrier says there is no reason why Judi Gryschuck should be terminated.
Chevrier says Gryschuck has worked hard on the CCAC budget, bringing it from a deficit of more than 600-thousand dollars to a small surplus.
Chevrier feels the province wants to have a greater say in Community Care Access Centres by appointing its own managers before it becomes designated as a corporation.
