Community Care Update

The Provincial Government is taking its time filling vacancies on the board of the Community Care Access Centre in Kenora-Rainy River.
The board is still short eight members after a mass resignation more than two months ago.
All 12-members of the board resigned after the Executive Director of the CCAC was fired by the Provincial Government at the end of January.
Since then an acting Executive Director has been appointed, but the province has only managed to find four new board members.
As well, a full-time chairperson has yet to be selected.
