The grand opening of the Dryden Community Garden was held Thursday.
The 85 King Street site acts as a meeting place for residents and
allows individuals to plant fruits and vegetables.
Shannon Brennan is involved in the project and says expansion is in the
works.
The garden will soon feature a gazebo, more benches and additional
plots of land as well as be completly handicapped accessible.
Brennan says a number of programs and courses are also being offered by
contacting the City Rec Office.
