Remote First Nation communities in Northwestern Ontario will be
receiving energy conservation kits from the Ontario Power Authority.
The OPA is stocking a Wasaya Airways plane full of kits Friday and will
stop in several communities that have no road access.
Organizer Charles Fox says the kits include energy efficient items like
light bulbs and insulation and will help replace old diesel generators.
The Wasaya Aircraft will leave Thunder Bay for the remote First Nations
later this morning.
