Motorists can expect delay’s Saturday when traveling through Ignace.
Residents, council and mill workers will be forming a human chain
across Highway 17 starting at 11 in front of the Town Plaza.
Councilor Dianne Loubier says they will stopping traffic and handing
out pamphlets in a bid to get help for the community and the forest sector.
Ignace is upset with the closure of the Bowater sawmill and the
proposed relocation of the company’s woodland operation to Thunder Bay.
