Communities across Northwestern Ontario will come together this Friday and honour the lives of missing and murdered aboriginal women.
Vigils are being held in Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Kenora and Thunder Bay.
Here is a list of locations and times.
Dryden:
Ontario Native Women’s Association of Canada, starting at 11am.
Dryden Native Friendship Centre from 11am until 2pm
Sioux Lookout:
Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre from 7pm-9pm.
Red Lake:
Red Lake Friendship Centre, from 10am until 2pm.
Kenora:
Ontario Native Women’s Association of Canada from 10am until 7pm.
Thunder Bay:
Ontario Native Women’s Association at ONWA office at 12pm
Thunder Bay – ONWA Candlelight Vigil @ TBD
